Why is it important to address the stressors in a team?
Even on the best days, stress can prevent us from being fully focused and performing our best at work. If it’s not managed properly, it can lead to burnout, lack of motivation, increased amount of sick days, and strained relationships in the workplace.
It is therefore critical for workplaces to properly address the mental well-being of their employees. I offer stress-management workshops in which I help bring mental well-being from the inside out. If the employees feel well, the company will do well.
We have to learn how to control stress before stress controls us. Mental health truly is the new wealth. In my opinion, it’s the only true wealth. We have to be smarter, both as individuals and corporations before we lose too many super talents in the workforce to this modern epidemic of stress and mental illness. We have to speak so much about this uncomfortable topic until it gets comfortable. Until the stigma is removed.
How can I help?
With my extensive experience in the corporate world, I believe I have experienced all of the common stressors, and along with my experience from two major stress-related burnouts, I have also become painfully aware of the consequences of not properly addressing them. Having employees on sick-leave is extremely costly for the company and most importantly for the individual, who might be affected by the burnout for several years post sick-leave. Working with me will shed light on the stressors in your workplace (which are working as barriers to unlocking the amazing and oftentimes hidden potential of both the coworkers and the team - and, in the long run, also the whole company!), and together we will find strategies on how to manage them effectively in order to get more balanced, productive, and passionate co-workers - before it is too late! The results will be visible both on a team level as well as an individual level.
